@robertpeacock894 but there’s a difference tho. Op says that they’re mom simply left them at the park which means he would instantly be found since he is able to get to police himself. With Timmy she obviously klled him before pretending he was missing which would mean that he couldnt just come out for help. Ops situation is definitely more unlikely. They were basically depending on an act of God for this to work since they couldnt guaranteed he would be kidnapped or choose to go walk off a bridge instead of going to a cop… I don’t think it’s offensive they wet just trying to clear up Ops suspicions that it’s highly unlikely this was that happened. Not impossible but unlikely.

@juliashenandoah3965 I don’t know why everyone attacked you on this. It’s definitely an unlikely plan unless the parents were extremely silly. They could not guarantee the child would just walk off and get stolen or die somehow. They simply walked away and the kid instantly went to get help and that was it…? In Timothy’s case the mother made sure to end him before claiming he was lost. It’s definitely unlikely.

@CompUter-oo7erthe point is the child could instantly go and get help and say who his parents were and get back to them… there would have been very little chance of success in that scenario. Not impossible but very unlikely.
