Come on man… I’m Puerto Rican and I can admit the flaws of my culture. A lot of Puerto Ricans do want to just live off of the government and never do anything but have tons of kids that they don’t care for properly. I’m from the country side (Corozal)and the mentality is so backwards you wouldn’t believe. I love my people but a lot of the issues we still go through come from a place of lack of accountability.

@juandiegotorres9632 exactly!!! I’m sorry but my fellow Puerto Ricans can be very lazy and there’s huge communities of people that just want to live off welfare and not do anything with their lives. Also tons of crime and drugs and they complain that it’s the government. I’m sorry but my people also need to take accountability.

@cobainzlady I’m sorry but I agree 😭 I’m Puerto Rican and I’m sick of hearing everyone complain all my life but they never do anything. They never start their own businesses and compete and support only each other. They only want to live easy as if life was an eternal vacation but don’t wanna put in the work that those who they criticize put to get to where they are.

It’s not as great as it sounds. So many things are going wrong in the island and they refuse to fix it. The electricity goes off in my house at random and it’s 100 degrees right now, just to say the least. Also doctors are impossible to find I have had mouth surgery and struggled to find care. We’re planning on moving away soon. It’s so much to put up with.
