@angelaharris53 I had a female friend boohooing in a bathroom while we were shopping for a dress for a funeral. An ex-boyfriend had died. She hadn’t gone out with him in years and she was acting like her husband had died. I’d finally had enough and told her to stop it. It’s not about her. His family were hurting far more than her and get it together. Basically calling her a drama queen trying to take attention from people far closer to him than she was. She immediately stopped and actually thanked me. Sometimes you just have to give them a reality check and swift kick in the bum. Edit: I’d had a guy I was dating die in a car accident and I was supposed to be with him and I didn’t act like that. To give an idea of the histrionics she was doing.
