@karriewick No it’s not. You’re not after the people already full blown into this ideology. You’re after the normies. I had a good example a couple days ago in a comment section on a video about this theory. Someone created a scenario that emotionally you’d answer yes to, but it was completely logically false. Her scenario was someone becomes a famous actor or musician. Their family is wealthy which allowed them to hone their talent. That family owned slaves at one point. Should the artist apologize and make reparations? It sounds reasonable and emotionally you’d say yes. To counter it you don’t go emotional yourself, you go fact. It’s full of false premises. You attack the falsehoods. The first one is that the majority of wealthy in the US is generational. It isn’t. Most millionaires and billionaires are new money. They would have to prove the family was able to maintain their wealth through the Great Depression and all the recessions. Only a tiny handful of families fall into that, and are well known. The last false assumption is that you have to come from wealth in order to pursue a career in those fields. The majority, again, don’t come from wealthy families. Edit: I posted accidentally before I was done. Anyway, that’s how you argue against this ideology. Any normie will look at my logical and fact based breakdown of the flaws in their reasoning and hopefully that will remove the emotional knee jerk response.
