Having grown up in the aftermath of very similar Democrat policies, though for different reasons in some cases, anyone with half a brain knew where all this was going to take us. Last time we had an energy crisis it was because we thought we were going to run out of oil instead of oil bad, but the results are the same. This is by far not the first time the US has coddled criminals. It happens like clockwork. It always results in massive crime spikes. They did the same lockdowns during the Spanish flu to the same results. The only difference was we weren't as reliant on foreign trade. It's like we're replaying every bad policy and social experiments all at once and knowing the impact these had in the past, think it'll be different this time.

Just admit you're a Democrat and are trying to drive down voter engagement hoping you won't lose as many seats. You know this attitude is what put 2 Democrat Senators in in Georgia and you're hoping it will work again.
