Roe is going to be a nothing burger. A lot of states with the trigger laws are choosing more restrictions (see Tennessee) rather than an outright ban (see Oklahoma). I 100% expected that to happen, though I did figure it would take a couple of years to sort out the legislation on it. It also doesn't help that most of them already have a fairly low number of them performed already. I do believe, though, that companies encouraging workers to get them is a clear indication of our society's moral decay. I'm not some religious zealot and I also understand it's financially advantageous for the company. That doesn't change the social response to it which is cheering instead of shock.

The protests have been much smaller and not as "effective" as the Floyd ones were. I think Democrats forget people had been locked up for months at that point and the Floyd fury was more a response to that. By November most people will realize the decision really doesn't affect them at all. As I expected, some of the states with trigger laws are instituting more restrictive measures instead of going full ban. Lessening the impact of their rhetoric even more. Edit: It appears many are choosing to keep available the chemical option which accounts for 50% of them and just prevents implantation. Hence Tennessee's 6 week ban. I've been looking at statistics in those states and close or more than 80% of them already occur within the first 8 weeks. Which I imagine the majority will set the limit near there instead of going Oklahoma's route.
