  3. This is response to a few things. One is the upcoming Supreme Court case about the Florida and Texas laws preventing big tech from banning, the court case Biden recently lost about the federal government using big tech to silence people, and a FOIA request that revealed the Disinformation Board was exactly what it was accused of being. They were indeed claiming to have authority over truth and prosecution powers. It's making me very curious about what's going to be presented at the upcoming Supreme Court case. The rest is already in the public record, though the people investigating the defunct Disinformation board are suing for records they've been denied. What they manage to get will also be interesting. I'm also pretty sure Musk recently busted some activity in the Election integrity group at Twitter (X). Edit: The decision in the Missouri V Biden case has opened the door for more lawsuits which means even more discovery. It's getting interesting right before the election. The upcoming Supreme Court case isn't likely to enshrine 1st Amendment protection in social media. What it's most likely going to do is more narrowly define 230 and if social media is a publisher or a public platform and what those two things mean. I do believe it's going to result in massive changes to social media, but this is a conservative court and they don't like to stomp on businesses.

  4. He did admit to committing crimes on air and handing out equipment so others could too. I don't think it required the large response though. Pretty sure a single officer would have been fine.
