  1. It was settled during the riots and lockdowns when longtime anti gun people were lined up at the gun store around the block. A lot found out they'd been lied to then when they weren't able to just walk out with one like they'd been told. There was a lot "I want it now! What do you mean I have to wait?" during that. They found out why people were against all this because they felt they needed to be able to protect themselves right then because police were no longer doing it and they were denied that ability.

  2. The sheriff was not at the table. I know this because he had a press conference so I know what he looks like and he's not any of the overweight white guys at the table. The metro police can nod all they like, but they're controlled by the Mayor not the governor. Sheriffs are elected officials unlike city or state police. That's why during the lockdowns a lot of them refused to enforce them. Edit: This edict covers two areas so that means 2 different sheriffs or more depending on how many counties those areas encompass.

  3. If I have to take a test to own a gun, then they'll have to take a test to vote. They don't understand how pushing things to curb one right affects all the others. Your vote impacts far more people's lives than my gun would.
