  7. He's had those gaffes since he ran in 2020. The only difference is the media actually talking about it. The reason the media is, is because after the debate they couldn't pretend anymore without destroying what little credibility they still have because the entire world saw it. The same reason everyone of those Democrats are speaking out when they all knew it before the debate.

  8. He was going to if Trump hadn't run. Biden wasn't brought into the 2020 election to beat Trump. He was brought into the primary to beat Bernie. Bernie would have been the nominee. Even if they paid him off last time, Bernie is still technically an independent and an outsider to the party. They don't want that. Just look at what Trump's done to the Republican party by winning. Establishment Democrats would rather minecraft themselves than see that happen to their party.

  9. They're not going to replace him. This is all just a show. The few in the House calling for him to step-down are most likely in swing areas trying to protect their seats and those below them in local and state elections. They're setting the stage to be able to say the only reason Trump won by such a large margin is because Joe refused to step aside. Reducing the significance of Trump's win to not being because people support him but because they just couldn't vote for such a clearly feeble president. Otherwise they risk alienating even more future potential voters because of how they've had Biden talk about anyone that votes for Trump. Edit: They know there's no path to win so they're throwing Biden under the bus. It's the only play they've got left. It also makes it easier to toss aside all the inflammatory rhetoric Biden's been spewing like threatening to nuke half the country.
