@popuptarget7386 Rosenbaum was. Not originally but had moved there. He was on probation and wasn't supposed to be near any underaged children for 40 years. He was the one chasing Kyle to begin with. So Rosenbaum was doing all kinds of stuff he shouldn't have been that night.

I think my favorite part in the pretrial was when the prosecution was trying to excuse them pushing the dumpster and saying it wasn't arson. He told the judge they were just pushing it into the street to block police and not trying to push it to the gas station. The judge's face was priceless. Edit: Remember the defense doesn't have to prove self defense. The prosecution has to prove it wasn't.
