  1. He has good grounds for an appeal. The judge didn't allow him a defense. Everyone his lawyers put up, the judge wouldn't allow. He had no chance since he wasn't allowed a defense combined with a biased jury. There is documentation of jury members already saying he was guilty before they were picked for the trail.
