@Lurch685 I wasn't aware the middle and upper class are the most vulnerable group. If you're lower class you qualify for grants and usually get paid to go to college. Most of the student debt is held by people with a Master's degree or above meaning they are already going to be making far more over their lifetime than most people. The debt relief is for individuals making up to $125,000 and $250,000 for couples. That's upper class. We make around $120,000 as a couple and that puts us in the upper middle class. Edit: That's not including all the scholarships and discounts you get based on race and gender. The interest rate should be there to cover inflation at least. They are borrowing taxpayer money so it should get paid back in the equal monetary amount for that year. Show me a loan for anything that doesn't include interest. Welcome to being an adult.

There's no "right" way to pet a cat. Each cat likes things differently. I have one that hates having it's head touched. You know nothing about the cat and it's personality to be making judgement calls. He's had those cats for years.

Them having to be there got done away with during the pandemic. Now they do proxy voting. They'll tell one person that's going how to vote while they attend fundraising events. At least that's how it currently is in the Senate. Thank goodness for the Freedom caucus because they are going demanding it be in person voting making them scramble back. It's sad we're depending on other members of Congress to make sure the rest do their job.
