This is why they wanted the cameras inside the residence to be turned off. Smartly they refused. Now there's evidence of what they took and the safe being empty. So they can't claim to have found something in it. The rest of it would have been gone over by lawyers before he removed it. Add in that the National Archives are just as partisan as everything else within the government now (they refused to turn over female worker complaints against Biden even though they have them) and it all looks extremely bad. The people trying to say there had to be tons of evidence for them to get the warrant are the same ones cheering the feds prosecuting the officers in the Taylor case on the grounds they lied to get the warrant. They also have conveniently forgotten the FBI used information they admitted they knew was fake to obtain a warrant to spy on Trump's campaign and his administration. An investigation into that warrant showed that the federal courts were just rubber stamping every FBI warrant request, but it's totally legitimate this time. They pinky swear!
