@elinope4745 The alphabet is a letter system every language has. Letters aren't alive so can't be oppressed or need freedom. Nobody is oppressed in the US. Nobody has or should have anymore rights than anyone else. It's illegal to discriminate, there are no laws imprisoning anyone based on those identifiers. Explain this "oppression". Explain the legal rights not afforded. You can't because there aren't any. They can vote, marry, be employed, can protest, enjoy free speech, can own firearms, etc. All the same rights as everyone else. What you don't have the right to do is force your beliefs on others. You can't legislate people like you. You can't violate other people's rights because you don't like what they say. You can't keep others from protesting against things.

@Incubansoul It wasn't an amendment. It was simply legislation. It wouldn't have stood up to a court challenge most likely.

@BaltimoreAndOhioRR Not Hispanics anymore. It's pretty much a 50/50 split at this point. I think Dems have a slight lead, but it's not a huge majority. That was true also in 2020. I believe it was 40% went red.
