The Fort Worth Log Cabin Republican thing isn't what's being said (shocker). They weren't kicked out of the convention. They just weren't allowed a booth and never have been. The leader quit and created another group to remove the LGBTQ+ from it, even though it will still champion their issues, because of what's going on within that community now. A committee member on the board that votes on booths had unexpected died leaving a spot open. So the head of the committee didn't break the split vote to keep the vote fair and even numbered. Most small groups don't even want booths because it ties their members up tending it instead of working the floor which is more productive. Edit: Considering how the LGBTQ+ has been hijacked by intersectionality, I understand completely why the original head if the group is trying to move away from it. I also understand why, after that split in the group, they voted against the booth. The person they'd grown to trust left it so I understand the suspicion that caused.
