@esotericivy Nobody has said African. They say Jamaican. You're making claims even she's not. Saying someone is Jamaican is like saying someone is American. There are many different races and ethnicities that are Jamaican. Edit: I REALLY want her to talk about slavery given that her family were slave owners in Jamaica.

@themadmattster9647 How about you go watch video recorded in India showing how the food is cooked. The unsanitary conditions. It has nothing to do with spice. Ungloved hands, include the one you're not supposed to eat with for a reason.

There's a reason they say Jamaican instead of black. Jamaican isn't a race.

So does that mean the 2nd generation Pakistanis born in England are the native population? I mean, they were born there. How about the ones in Sweden? Born there, so according to you they are the native population.

Except he was raised in the US as a black person. Most black people are 1/4 European so another 1/4 isn't make or break. She's zero. She was raised as an Indian proven by her nearly yearly trips there. Not to mention the many pictures of her in traditional Indian attire.

Then every second generation Asian immigrant in England is the native population too. You're obviously going to think that's a ridiculous claim, but believe yours is somehow different.

Google images of Indians and rethink that. You'll see many would pass as what physically constitutes "black" in the US.

@pendragonfilm Yes. They killed us on our reservation when we allowed them on it. It's difficult to find, but if you search you should be able to. It was the 70s or early 80s. We were protesting with black activists. They came on a reservation for a meeting and ended up killing 2. It's why we don't protest or anything anymore. We chose to work within the system to make desired changes.

Because you're not from there. You weren't born there. There are people that call themselves Irish Americans simply because a single ancestor was from there. The Irish don't recognize them because they're not Irish. They don't have the same culture. Just because you personally don't do that, doesn't mean it's not a thing.

@verdigrisrookie9309 They don't care much for black Americans. That's probably why.

Because India is on the Asian continent. Egypt is African but we'd call them Arab. Ethnicity is a thing. Edit: Are you trying to say as an ESL worker, there's no such thing as the Indian language? Chinese are Asian, doesn't make them not Chinese.

To be a tribal member yes. To be a descendant of, no. He's not claiming to BE something. He's claiming descendent of something. That's why Warren was such an issue. She claimed to BE Cherokee. Not just descended from.

No. Her father says he's Irish and Indian. There's zero claims of African ancestry. Her Jamaican ancestors were Indian slave owners.

I mean her dad was a commie teacher and his speeches definitely were about race.

A lot depends on where you live and when your family got here. I am a descendent of Native American, but I know exactly who was the ancestor and my family has been here since the 1600s. She's the only ancestor with no surname. The reason she didn't have one is because when the tribe was defeated most of them joined the English. A condition was they had to get baptized. After which they were given an English name. So her name was just Elizabeth. As for your DNA test, it depends on which one you took. Full blood Natives refuse to take them, making them incredibly inaccurate for that group. It's why even Algonquin groups come back South American even though they're the group that crossed the land bridge and are found in Canada and along the East Coast. Edit: There are believed to have been 3 migrations. The one across the land bridge and 2 by boat into South America later by a different group of Asians. It's why we look and are colored differently. The reason when your family got here can be a factor is because in the 1600s and early 1700s, there was a lot of inter marriage between all groups.

She's touring. It recently came near here. I couldn't afford tickets so she's not some $100 show.

Except neither of her parents have claimed African ancestry. Her father says he's Indian and Irish. Her mother is just Indian. So no, she doesn't fit that definition. Nobody has claimed she's African. They say she's Jamaican.

@jaydath8181 Is the 21st century the part the travel agent told the female client it would be safe? She's suing them because she got gr@ped in her hotel room on the first night.

Her father has said he's Indian and Irish. Jamaican just means you were born there. It's a melting pot much like the US is. Edit: It's honestly surprising how many people don't know Indians can certainly fall into "black" using just the skin color and hair standard. Many have curly hair and are darker than a lot of African Americans.
