That's why they're trying to get him back to Delaware. Put him back in familiar surroundings. Being some place new or a place they no longer remember speeds up the decline. My grandmother had it. She was 92 and only occasionally would misremember things. She broke her hip and had to be put in a rehab facility and that was it. Her mind was gone. Within a couple of weeks she thought I was her sister and my mom was her mom because she was caring for her.
