Most don't know it's done by court decisions. During Obama, the courts ruled you can't house children with adults. Thus the cages were born. You are correct about the litmus. I saw it during 2014-15. There were all these articles on how Trump was going to be on the illegals. I'd point out the conditions they were currently in and every single one of them didn't care and just said it will be worse under Trump. It wasn't, but I bet they believe it was.

I feel sorry for many of them because they are being duped by other people. There are "professionals" that tell them if they come, they'll get citizenship or if they bring a child it's easy to get in. That there are tons of jobs here. I wouldn't be surprised if those professionals are working for big companies that profit off their cheap labor and create a slave class in the US.

At this time with our unemployment at the rate it is? No. If our unemployment was lower, yes. Refugees are a whole other thing. I mean real ones, not ones that just want to make a better living, but the ones being persecuted by their government.

He's talking about Dreamers created by the DREAM act. That act technically made them "legal". One of the conditions is they have to maintain employment. They pay $500 every couple of years to keep their status. It's a hell of a racket Obama created. More taxes and making them pay the government a good chunk everytime they turn around.

@kathyflorcruz552 About the media gaslighting? Yes we all care. It's you that doesn't. Kids in cages? I care the exact same amount I did for the last 7 years. I don't have a problem separating children from possible traffickers. I think it's a good thing to confirm they are with their parents. 2500 children were trafficked across the border in 2 years under Obama according to the UN. If one of them are saved by this policy, I'm fine with it. Isn't that the leftists mind set? If lockdowns save just one person it's worth it? Or does that only count for citizens and not illegal children?

I know a couple of them, and it's not theirs that's for sure. One is in college and doesn't qualify for any help and has to pay out of state prices because of how that Act is set up. The other one is waiting on his younger brother that was born here to turn 18 so he can get citizenship through him.

@donkndave7811 The legalization of marijuana in many states has already cut into their profits. They've started kidnapping from the Hispanic community to try to make up the loss. If you legalize all drugs, as it used to be, you take away their income. It's no different than alcohol prohibition creating Al Capones. Once it was ended so were the bootleggers and their gangs. If the cartels could "take over" they already would have. Mexico has strict gun control, we are a well armed society.
