The federal government is going to stop having states report deaths from the virus to it after February 2nd and states will start phasing it out then as well. It's over folks!! We won! I'd like to thank all the southern governors, even Louisiana which is run by a Democrat, for holding strong and pushing back against the federal government. I thank South Dakota who never followed them. I thank DeSantis, though not the first to start opening up he was the first to fully reopen and allowed himself to be the target of the press. I thank Wisconsin for being the first to bring suit against the lockdowns and get the courts to strike them down. I'd also like to thank the AGs that filed suit and fought all the way to the Supreme Court as well as the business associations that did the same. I thank all of them for holding true to American ideals and refusing to break their state constitution or the federal Constitution. I have little doubt that without them we'd be like Germany and possibly like Australia. A very special thank you to the workers that sacrificed their jobs. Without you, the business associations wouldn't have pushed back against the OSHA crap. They knew they'd go belly up if they lost all those workers who refused to bend the knee. It would likely have been a different decision if ya'll had caved.
