I've been stocking up, but it's about time to order my yearly half a cow. My grandparents taught me well. We've bought from the same family for generations. It's pricey up front, but saves tons in the long run. Nothing better than a $3.50 lbs for every cut of beef. We moved earlier this year from Arkansas to Oklahoma and we have a generator hardwired into the house in Arkansas, but I need to get it done here. I've had the pleasure too many times of being without power for a week or more during the winter. To explain how I'm always prepared anyway, during snowpocalypse this past winter trucks couldn't get in or out of where I was for over a week. Grocery stores were bare. I still had another week of food by the time the roads opened back up.
