I made the mistake of reading wikipedia. Apparently Populism is "radicalism" for some reason. It was interesting when some of the works calling it that were published. It was when the left, once again, were becoming violent. Not long before they started bombing stuff. I remember seeing some of it on the news when I was young. They even acknowledged that Populism in the US is not like it is in Europe, but still claimed it's dangerous. Anyone that knows US history knows it's always been Populism that cleans out the system when it gets too corrupt. Everyone remember that when they try to claim you've been radicalized and try to convince you it's evil and bad. Edit: Past Presidents that were populists include Cleveland, Teddy Roosevelt, JFK, and Reagan to give you an idea. I suggest looking at politically what was going on at the time they were elected to understand why this is a cycle.
