  1. I just wouldn't use one rather than use a foreign bank. What's to stop them from canceling everything because they get pissed off at my government? Don't act like if they got a large US citizen market they wouldn't use it to put pressure on the government because Russia absolutely would. They've done it to Europe multiple times threatening to turn off the gas supply to pressure the EU to do something. Giving up my sovereignty to a foreign bank controlled by a foreign government would be just as stupid or worse.
