@wigletron2846 Yes it's being paid for with our tax money. That's why Pelosi went to Taiwan. I'd rather have used the tax incentives than billions in money we don't have. Taxes we weren't already getting has less of an effect than printing money to pay a company to build one. It was in the infrastructure bill or the Inflation Reduction aka the other half of the infrastructure bill.

Disagree. China isn't in an economic situation to invade. Their housing market recently crashed, they're still experiencing bank runs, and many in the younger generation (which already too small to replace the current population) are refusing to participate in society. It's fairly unstable there at the moment.

Unfortunately younger people are finding out the hard way why the US can NEVER elect a weak President. I'm not saying a warhawk should be either, but we always need a President that's willing to talk tough and project strength. I loved when the press would freak out everytime Trump would get in a pissing match with a foreign leader. He was behaving how a President should. Don't let them be able to know exactly how you'll respond to a threat. If they believe there's just the slightest possibility the President will retaliate, it keeps other nations in line diplomatically. Obama was only tough to third world weak countries. When he kept making speeches about crossing his redline and then they did and he did nothing, that showed his weakness. The only time he projected strength at China was in trolling their man made islands. Now we've got someone even weaker so wars are breaking out everywhere due to it creating the opportunity they needed. What's happening with Russia and China is on the hands of every Biden voter.
