  1. For Shatner it's how he has branded himself. Like John Wayne branded himself as a tough guy even though he'd never been in a fight or war. Shatner does similar as being a man's man but adds comedy to it. Takei in his later years unfortunately decided to brand himself as a stereotypical feminine gay man. If you look back into his career, even after he first came out, he didn't do that. He maintained a certain amount of dignity and respect. His current persona gets him far more attention so it's the one he's sticking with.

  3.  @DarthVader-1701  Man poor James Earl Jones. Disney StarWars treats him horribly. They are just going to computer generate his voice and they always leave him out when pointing out birthdays.

  6. He actually was a satanist at one time and he's considered an authority in the occult with many published works. One of those expert types everyone wants to throw around and appeal to. Nice attempt at baiting and trolling, but you're just showing your own ignorance because you have an image in your head of what academic authorities and experts are supposed to look like.
