A court doesn't let you off because you're going to fight a charge. That's the most ridiculous claim I've seen. Otherwise criminals wouldn't be in prison until all their appeals are over. He got let off because of who he is. Imagine a murderer, "I'm going to fight this charge because it's unconstitutional" Judge: "It's perfectly fine to continue to walk the streets while you do so". That's the dumbest claim in defense of him getting a slap on the wrist for a charge with a 5 year minimum yet. There seems to be some misunderstanding of what's happening on the bigger picture. This isn't really about Biden. The corruption isn't occurring to protect him. The corruption occurred to try to prevent a certain orange man from being elected or remaining in the position. They had to cover all this up to prevent Biden from losing. All of this is the system trying to protect itself, not an individual. It's to protect the appearance of the institutions to protect the system. They think if the institutions aren't trusted the system fails. They don't understand the system is supposed to keep the institutions in check. Some did it believing the institutions are bigger and more important than an individual. Others to hide their own corruption. They don't understand they are destroying any and all trust in the institutions and systems themselves.

His firearm charge holds a minimum sentence of 5 years in prison. Tell that to everyone in federal prison on the same charge. The last person to get charged and convicted of what they're accusing Trump of got probation and he destroyed the documents. Trump is facing 100 years. Illegal possession of a firearm is both a state and federal charge. Each state has their own regulations. So this would have also fallen under the state of Delaware. The investigations they're doing and questioning that's revealing all this is something. Will it result in any charges? Don't know. I do appreciate them grilling Durham about why he refused to pursue certain clear strands in his investigation or certain people. They're exposing how far everyone in the system will go to protect the institutions no matter how corrupt the people within them are. I don't call that nothing. It's now on permanent historical record the corruption within them so when people look back, even in just a few years, they'll understand what was really happening instead of just the fluff the news tells you.
