I was so surprised CNN showed them leaving the stage. I was waiting for It at the end, then they cut it and went to studio. I was shocked when they brought the stage back up in the background.

@FACTBOT_5000 The Democrats have super delegates that can override the primary votes. The Republicans strictly stick to the voters choice. They absolutely can replace him at the convention. There's nobody to replace him with. Newsome couldn't win a debate against DeSantis and all you'd have to do is point out California lost population for the first time in history under his leadership. They're stuck.

@Rokomarn Yes Biden didn't dodge at all. He didn't forget the 13 service members his decisions cost while claiming he hadn't lost any service members on foreign soil. He completely dodged the first question about the economy and they both dodged the childcare question. He did at least finally admit there was no inflation when he took office after claiming it was over 9% when he did just a few minutes before. My favorite was him being busted in real time claiming the Border Patrol endorsed him and they immediately Twitted out that didn't and never would. The claiming Trump wanted to reduce police, not something even under the President's control, after his party has spent the last 5 years doing so was rich.

They can't. They could try, but there's no one to replace him with that has a chance. Everyone thinks Newsom but he couldn't even debate DeSantis. Only Big Mike or Oprah have enough name recognition and good enough national support to have a chance and I seriously doubt either would do it.
