I agree. The majority of the population would rather have it illegal than unrestricted and are in favor of it not being available after the first trimester. I see abortion fading away. Honestly minus extreme cases, given current available medications, there's no real need for it anymore. I understand needing it when before the pill and even after it due to the limited choices. That's just not the case anymore. I feel like 100 years from now this still being a thing will be looked at similarly to how we look at child sacrifice today. The only difference is we understand it was lack of knowledge that caused that and we know how to prevent getting pregnant.
