  1. That's not how it works. Fewer people working means a smaller economy. That means that benefits to older people can't be reimbursed by existing taxes. Which means taxes go up or services decline. As it continues to shrink, it reaches a crisis level to where the standard of living begins to drop. If you do not have enough workers, industry leaves to find them. You're basically admitting openly you don't understand how an economy functions and stupidly think less means more of the pie for you, when it really means a shrinking pie. Edit: Every time there's been a baby boom, there's been a corresponding drastic increase in technology shortly behind it. We haven't had one since after WWII, and you can see our advancements have drastically slowed as a result. You want the benefits a booming society offers without the booming society. That's not how it works. A shrinking society causes decline and eventually disappears.

  2. ​​ @user-ch6um1vn8x  No. Both of you don't get it. A smaller society doesn't mean a bigger slice of the pie. It means a smaller and decreasing pie for you overall. If businesses can't find workers, and grow they simply close and go somewhere else. People came to the US because it gave them opportunities. Those opportunities disappear without a society to maintain them.

  3. I had 2, so I already did my part. Would have gone for 3 because we wanted a girl, but unfortunately, it was just too dangerous for my health to have another.
