  2. It's the highest single holder. That makes his voice much louder than the 10,000 tiny voices. It's not true that a 51% is the only way to take control. It depends on how many in total there are, how much is held by silent mutual funds, etc. The guy that they made a movie about who was notorious for taking over and selling off companies in pieces does it with 10-20% stock control. He's currently trying to take the company my husband worked for. He only needs 1 board member to side with him to oust the current CEO and put in his own.

  4. Dorsey was a huge disappointment. He was supposed to be Libertarian and I don't know what the hell happened. And yes him and Zuck are 100% to blame. I used mIRC and the programs that fooled your computer into thinking the internet was a LAN connection. I remember all the normies on AOL chat so the rest if US didn't have to deal with their sensibilities. Good times!

  6. He's gone in as a passive stockholder. That's a longterm investment. It means you have no intention of selling. Contrary to what I've seen claimed in other comment sections, that doesn't mean he doesn't own voting shares. It's usually the type that mutual funds do and they don't vote. It has been being used as a way to do a hostile takeover more often in recent years and some groups are lobbying that the rules be changed to not allow them to vote.
