@NanClaymore That still doesn't change the fact there are 2 apples. The rest has nothing to do with the number you have because numbers aren't just related to food. Once you remove that it's apples from your extremely long winded bs, the amount doesn't change. Math is amount, not quality of the amount. I have two buttons, they are not identical but there is still two of them. Breaking things down into identical groups comes at higher levels of math and that understanding can't be achieved without understanding the basics. You can try to ignore that fact for eternity, but it doesn't change how the brain works. Young minds are not developed enough to grasp complex concepts. That's why the complexity advances as knowledge progresses. Breaking items down into groups still requires knowing how many of each you actually have.

Let them go this route. It will force a swing back because only those educated in conservative areas where this stuff is being pushed back on and even outlawed will be employable. They will then be favored for teaching positions because the other areas will fail and not have enough tax revenue to sustain themselves. They'll be the ones with the knowledge to teach.
