  1.  @American-Motors-Corporation  Train, airlines, etc are legally vital businesses. The entire country stops if they strike. Still they can strike, they just have to function on a skeleton crew. Nobody suddenly declared them vital, they were always that. Are you trying to claim Unions have no power and no political power? They aren't allowed to basically hold the entire country hostage and tank the economy as a negotiation tactic. If builders go on strike in NYC, it only impacts construction in NYC. It doesn't damage the entire economy or affect millions of people outside NYC. The workers voted to take the contract. Nobody voted for them. They said yes. To pretend the majority or the Union didn't vote because you don't like the outcome of it is you hoping most people don't understand how they function. Edit: My grandfather, father, and husband were all Union Presidents and ran contract negotiations before you try to cry more or claim I don't know anything.

  2. I'm curious why almost all comments are talking about trains and derailments when this is a trucking accident on the interstate. Accidents on the interstate happen multiple times everyday.
