Been experiencing that for decades. Just wait until their kids enter school and can't speak English. Then you're education funding will go to English as a Second Language classes for them instead of being put toward your children. It's great.

@Throbingkcoc See my comment. Learn civics so you understand what powers are delegated to the states and which ones fall under the federal government. You're mad because you're ignorant of them so you blame the wrong people for doing the only thing they can because you think they should have powers they simply don't.

They can't deport them. Governors don't have the legal authority to do so. Only the federal government can.

Too bad he doesn't control state borders. They've never remained in Texas anyway. Not all of them. I lived in south Arkansas about 30 minutes outside Texas and we get a lot. Hell, Biden was flying them all over the country in the middle of the night. They're sanctuary cities and openly said they wanted them so they can have them.

@JimmyTwoTimesJimmyTwoTimes No it's not. Buses are leaving Texas to other areas everyday still. So it's not happening. States control their own borders. It's why visitors from the federal government that represent other states have to get permission. The FBI has to get permission from state or local law enforcement to help in an investigation that's not under federal jurisdiction.

He can't. The federal government controls the US borders and is over immigration. I don't know why that's so hard for people to understand. He's tried several times to block the border and the courts said no because it's the jurisdiction of the federal government. States don't have the power to deport people. Unless you want massive lawsuits that will bankrupt Texas, this is the best he can do. Edit: Even if he did, he can't stop them from just immediately coming back. This is the best way to put pressure on the federal government to do its job. Have members of their own party pressuring them because they don't care about states that aren't blue.

@kirvu9677 That's not illegal. It's not against the law to cross the border to go shopping. The same thing happens at the Canadian border because things are cheaper in the US. Especially gas. Many people live on one side and work on the other side at the northern border. I'm not upset people enter the country to spend money. That takes money from their economy and puts into ours. Edit: Large border crossings at the Canadian border will be backed up for miles on the weekends of people entering the US to go shopping or stay the weekend. I lived on the Canadian side for over a year. It's not a southern border thing only or bad.
