Agree as well. I was a teenager and young adult during that time period so I'm well aware of how little they really did. We wouldn't have had The Culture Club getting hits in the US and stars wouldn't have started coming out of the closest if they had the power leftists have right now.

@GLOW_IN_THE_DARK_CIA_NIBBAS I'm confused why everyone is calling it Trump's social network when he's not even involved in it. It's a FORMER, as in no longer, person involved in his campaign. Trump didn't even help fund it. The fact you're using leftwing propaganda tells me you're just one of them.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to disagree. On the advertising part, these advertisements are failing and many companies are losing money hand over fist to this campaign yet they continue. Obviously it's not about making money and that's what makes it terrifying. Others have pointed out that now is far worse than the satanic panic. The only people that got canceled then were TV preachers that weren't following what they preach. A prime example of how it's not close to the same is the boycott on Protector and Gamble. There was a boycott for years because it was said their company symbol was satanic. They never really suffered financially and the symbol is still the same. Now a Twitter comment with less than 100 likes would see the company bending over backwards. They are similar, but not really comparable.
