@XVa-uj8m There are these things called independent studios. One has a top movie right now. It's far more than just studios either. There's distribution and marketing which is difficult and limited. It's not as simple as "co-op is the answer". They can already see if their movies sell so I have no idea what you mean there. That's public knowledge and available everywhere with box office numbers. If you're talking streaming, their residuals show that. The more viewers, the bigger the check. That market is collapsing anyway. So what? A streaming co-OP? Not possible. There are already several studios owned by former actors, producers, directors, etc. DreamWorks for example. You don't understand the business or market at all yet claim to have the solution. Edit: Next time you watch a movie, pay attention to the credits. Most of the time there are 2-3 separate studios involved in bringing a film to the screen and you'll see "distributed by" as a separate entity. Films are made by smaller studios and purchased by larger ones all the time, you're just not paying attention or you don't understand why there are different studios listed.
