@nikkicortez8679 It's not owned by the government. Therefore, it's a private company. Being publicly traded on Wallstreet doesn't change if it's private property or government property. Being government owned and controlled means it would have to follow the Constitution. Privately owned means it doesn't.

@newtpondskipper BlueSky isn't even who's suing. It's 2 users. Two users of BlueSky are upset the NFL told the teams they couldn't make a BlueSky account. As you pointed out, NFL teams have accounts as advertising and that's decided in the contracts.

@tenchraven Activist lawyers. As part of your license, you are required to do a certain amount of pro bono work to be totally fair. I don't think this would count though since it'll be tossed before anything happens.

What platforms they use would be dictated by advertising contracts because that's what any NFL team's account is for.

 @williamjenkins4913 The thing is, if someone is willing to pay you, even if you tell them it has no chance, it's on that person. Not the lawyer. They're just doing what they've been paid to do.
