I can't ride everything in any park so by your reasoning I should never go to one. They all have kiddie rides adults can't ride. They also have rides a person with a heart condition shouldn't ride.

I'd always schedule our visits to where the dining plan was free or heavily discounted. I'm no dummy.

Because I still now have to pay for parking at the resorts that I'm already paying high dollar for. Then there's all the other perks that have been removed while the price for everything has drastically increased. Getting less for a lot more tends to not make people happy. If my experience is far below and costs twice as much, it's no longer worth the price.

Pretty much yes. It takes an insane amount of planning. Especially if you have small children.

Already planning on Universal once the new stuff opens. Screw Disney. They lost the magic. It's sad because I loved going and felt it was worth it because the perks and cast members were over the top. No more perks without paying extra, costs up a lot, and fewer cast members. They got rid of what made it worth it. I love Universal's new ad campaign that backhands Disney.

Inspections would be done at night. It's hilarious you only think about attendance and forget the rides will have to be shutdown to be inspected. Disney broke their agreement. It had been discussed for the last decade by the legislature to get rid of it and have them under the same as all the others. The government gave Disney an unfair advantage over their competitors and you think it's wrong the field will finally be even.

You mean people that pay for things get them? The horror! I've never been when reservations weren't recommended for sitdown restaurants. I also never had a problem getting in one without one. I just had to wait a bit. Just like it is in most restaurants that take reservations. It would be different if nobody else in the country recommended them, but it's silly to complain about something that's normal everywhere. Some restaurants are reservation only and dress requirements outside theme parks. That must really chap your hide. I do agree that reservations to go to the park is stupid. It's just too much control over my vacation.

@TerryKitts Because they aren't. Attendance is down at Disneyworld but up enough at Disneyland to cover up the drop. They spent an obscene amount of money on a hotel no one uses. They were counting on that being booked up to cover the loss from regular families that could no longer afford to go due to the increased costs. Unfortunately just like other companies have found out, there aren't enough of the people they're targeting to make up for the amount they've lost.

Funny because I know a lot of people changing from saving for a trip to Disneyworld for a trip to Universal. It's cheaper, newer rides, better fast pass system, etc. Stimulus? That's never been a normal thing. There's no reason that should ever be considered in predicting the economy. You don't include stuff that doesn't regularly impact it. Even in other economic downturns like in 2008, Disney still had good numbers because people felt they got their money's worth. If people no longer feel that way, and they don't, then yes you should be worried about an economic downturn.

It's been shocking to me how he's basically admitted fraud on the earnings calls. It doesn't make any distinction between the two which legally they're supposed to be. He keeps referring to it as Disney. It's insane.

Same and charging me parking at the resort. That really pisses me off. There's no reason to stay on property anymore vs a cheaper hotel in the area.

It's been down this year according to the recent releases. Disneyland had an uptick to kinda hide the drop in Disney World. I've been 3 times and won't go back. I never had a problem making a reservation except for Be Our Guest not long after it opened and still managed to get the day we wanted. I've even been able to make reservations the same day. Disney Quick Service isn't worth the cost of the package. You do get a cup but it's only usable at the resort. You can't get a dining plan unless you stay on property. Quick service package is 2 meals a day. I'd get the one that had 1 quick service and one sit down a day. The sitdown includes drink, entree, and dessert. You could use 2 sitdown tickets for a signature dining or character dining experience. It sounds like you've never been yet are recommending it to others? I watched the service degrade every visit to the point it's not worth the cost at this point. It was easy to justify it when the perks were great. Without them and the increased prices, it's a rip .off
