I was looking at Universal recently. I get their fast pass with a mid level room. Their fast pass is so much better because it's for everything rather than what Disney is doing. They've added restaurants and shows since I went years ago too. I don't do rollercoasters so Universal wasn't really for me, but now that they've added stuff we're looking at going instead of to Disney.

I've taken 3 Disneyworld trips, The first one was from my mom and she took all 13 kids and grandkids. The second was for my sons (both of them. They're one week apart) birthdays and it was amazing. The last trip was in 2017 or 18 for my son's graduation and it was not nearly as good as the earlier trips because they'd already started scaling back the perks for staying on site. Now there are no perks. That's what made it worth it and without them, I won't be going back.
