@RkSmithers That's 100% false. 4 figures would be less than $10,000 a year. Far below the poverty line. Most people don't live in poverty. It's 11.6% that live below the poverty line which is below $35,801 for a family. 11% is no where near the majority. Depending on the cost of living where you live $35,000 for a family isn't a hardship at all. The 3 figures, which would be less than $1,000 a year is laughable. My son makes more than that working part time at a fast food restaurant in a state with a low cost of living. Most people that live paycheck to paycheck do so because they are living above their income level. They stretch it to the limit so they can have luxuries they can't afford. Then they're angry and they blame other people for their own poor financial decisions. Not everyone obviously, but the majority absolutely. They spend large amounts on new tech products and then complain they can't buy food. I see why it's a pointless discussion to you because you have no idea what you're talking about.

@djnutsack9004 They rent like most people that live in big cities. It's hard to feel sorry when you choose to live there. The one part they were saying how in their chat everyone was talking about lavish vacations they'd taken and the 2nd home they were about to buy. They clearly had no problem buying their first if they're already looking to own 2nd. Purchasing a home in bigger cities has always cost a lot relative to income because real estate is more limited due to population density. It's going to be far more expensive when you're cramming 3 or more times the population into an area than there is land available.
