My son just purchased his first house, a small starter home, for $60,000. He's Gen Z. It depends on where you live. My house that we bought 4 years ago would be worth over $1 million in places like Vancouver or California. It was $180,000. 3 br, 2 bath, in ground pool, etc. If you carve out California and NYC prices, the average cost of a house drops significantly. Me and my husband were pushing him hard to buy one that was $75,000. 4 br, 3 bath, over 2000 square feet with a finished basement. His wife wanted the smaller house and now complains the kitchen is too small. This is in Oklahoma which has the 7th fastest growing economy in the country.

@JM-er2yl I, too, have that box set and refuse to buy George's enhanced version. That was what pushed fans over the edge. I don't care if he wanted to change it, just don't make it to where I can't get the OG anymore. Edit: My husband put it onto DVD years ago. We had a computer specifically to copy old VHS onto DVDs to preserve them. He even did it with our bootleg copy of Song of the South.

@michaelhoudecki3657 You don't know? It was during the prequels. He was enamored with the new tech. So he changed stuff in the OG because they lacked the technology to make it how he "really" wanted it at the time. Like he changed the Han scene in the Catina and made Han not shoot first, he added sound to space explosions (there wouldn't be any), he digitally added a scene with Jaba, etc. The worst was only that version is now available to buy. He won't allow the OG theatrical version to ever be released again. Edit: It caused such an uproar, other directors have publicly said "don't do a Lucas" in regards to their old movies.

We liked classic TV shows in the 80s. We all watched old black and white shows like Andy Griffin, Ozzy and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver, HannaBarber, classic Looney Toons, etc. Just show me my old shows if you can't make anything even half decent.
