Remember when they had the AI generated summary of livestream chat? It was slow, it was usually wrong because it would pick put just a couple of comments, and it was fun to try to get it to be crazy things. That will now be Google searches. If they're no longer as useful pepole will switch to a difference engine. Unfortunately most smaller engines use Google.

It's not that kind of AI. It's not what people think of as AI. It's just an algorithm. It doesn't think for itself. It doesn't learn on it's own. It doesn't program itself. It absolutely has it's place in replacing mundane repetitive tasks in programming or searching for patterns. For this it's just not.

@ratkatzcorner777 That's how the internet was to start with. Most people that work at tech companies don't do much. The biggest areas are recruiting and help desk. It's already just a couple of people doing the bulk of the work in programming.
