  1. There are groups of lawyers that have formed to fight these cases. They work on donations and any winnings. They want everyday people that have been attacked to get the justice they deserve. They are willing to go after publications and individuals. There is a high bar to go after news organizations, but it can be overcome like O'Keefe has done with the New York Times. If you make it to discovery, most of them will move for a settlement rather than have their private communications exposed.
