  1.  @GLoLChibs  OG StarWars, Shrek, Star Trek, etc. Those are examples where the side female characters are adept and not the brain dead damsel in distress trope. The funny thing about those damsel in distress movies though is that they have always been very popular with women. So now, they really aren't making things for anyone anymore.
