  1. Whoever wrote this article is clueless about the deal. One out Elon has is if he can't secure the funding. He said some of that hinges on the bot numbers. He has an out if his investors don't like the information Twitter sent. He'll still be out 1 billion for breaking it. If he proves Twitter has a lot more bots, Twitter's loses it's advertising money and it will destroy the app. Either way it's a win win for Elon and a lose lose for the current Twitter board.
