@mightypancake2211 There used to be a conservative and progressive side of each party. It helped to keep them balanced. That ended a few years ago though. That's why there really wasn't a huge difference between them other than very specific issues. I expect the Democratic party is falling apart as tends to happen. It is the oldest party. I imagine Libertarian or a new one will take it's place. I feel no sympathy. They did it to themselves by embracing the radicals. All the walkaway people I know are independents like me. Most have not officially joined the Republican party.
