  1. The reason the DVC hotels are hard to book is because they've opened several of them to the public. I noticed that when I booked our vacation 3 years ago. The only reason I know they were DVC places is because a family I know were members. They got in when it was only $10,000 which was enough points for several vacations. Me and hubby were planning on going to the Food and Wine Festival before the pandemic hit. It was going to be a trip just for us. Stay at the Grand Floridian and get the highest level meal package to eat at the 5 star restaurants in Epcot. Not now since they've removed all the perks and upped the price. It'll be cheaper to go to Europe at this point.
