I was warning of that from the moment they went longer than the projected 2 weeks. The WHO warned it and were against them because it was going to cause an increase in poverty and starvation for the first time in years. When their funding was in danger they towed the line though. Then when the relief spending started it sealed the deal. Countries were being pitted against each other because others had spent more of their GDP than others. It became a competition of what country was the most "compassionate" to its people without a second thought given to the longterm outcome and damage it would cause to those same people. I began preparing 6 months into it. Invested what we could into longterm loans while rates were low so the value of our money wouldn't decrease and installed alternative energy sources so we wouldn't have to worry about energy shortages. We have enough land that we can plow under the yards and be able to grow enough food to feed ourselves. We'll survive just fine. Good luck to those that didn't listen to the warnings.

So only those deemed worthy? Nobody would use it and it wouldn't generate enough constant traffic to be viable to use for businesses. All those entities already have their own websites to make announcements on so what would be the point? It would be redundant just like most of its workers were. If it wasn't Twitter it would be another one like FB or Instagram and you'd be attempting to make the same thing apply to them.
