That incident seriously pissed me off. It shows blatantly how just horrible these people are. They are stuck in high school being mean girls and jocks deciding who gets to hang out with who. Deciding who gets to be a popular kid and who is an outcast. The only thing is, they're only popular in their own minds and on Twitter who don't buy anything.

@parsleyisthicc What do you think you're doing? You're acting like your opinion is fact and everyone else's opinion is wrong. These are opinions and everyone is allowed to have their own. You respond to one with "didn't read blah blah blah". That's your opinion on that story. You're judging someone else's taste based on your own and acting like you know everything about people you know nothing about. The one person clearly stated they don't like having to read or research a comic book that's first in a series and you response that they should research them. Like wtf? People are allowed to not like what you like. Get over it. Edit: Keep coping and seething that manga is out performing US comics.

@jacob4920 Not every issue or story held political points. A lot of the times it was just be a better person or more self help stuff. Sometimes it was just using past conflicts and putting them in modern day. Without that comics like the X-men would have been irrelevant after Civil Rights was inacted. What political ideas was Deadpool supposed to represent? Nothing. He represents Gen X. So this idea that comic books have always been political isn't really true. It's just that some were.

I like to think Amazon's LotR series is what's finally made the normies pay attention. It's something that a lot of people love and seeing what the people making it are saying has made them start looking around and noticing it. Add in the Disney debacle currently going on and I think it's finally shocked the system. I think that's why the pushback has finally kicked in.
