  1. No it's not. Political affiliation isn't a protected class. I'd rather have everyone relatively comfortable than walking on eggshells due to one or two people. You can't work as a group that way and it's toxic to productivity.

  2. If it went far right it wouldn't have many users. There are far fewer than the far left. Plus, if a potential employer asks your political leanings you need to walk out. That has nothing to do with your ability to work.
