I had looked into doing Etsy but didn't because they let China in. Chinese companies were stealing designs and mass printing them so instead of getting something someone made by hand and their talent, you started getting cheap knockoffs. Good riddance.

Yes. There's also the fallout and ripple effect that'll impact other sectors based on the lost revenue from those businesses and their employees. It's going to be a bumpy ride. As well as other banks or businesses that invested or held loans associated with that bank.

@bedfordshiremodeller4491 No it won't. People who say that don't understand where it's money comes from. Everything is funded by the parks around the world. As long as those are still operational, they'll never go bankrupt.

@lordtrinen2249 Which is really sad. Unfortunately I learned how important it was to always keep a buffer by watching my parents go through multiple bankruptcies. One son learned that and the other didn't. Even just a couple hundred squirreled away can make the difference in getting through something like this and losing everything.

That was a breeze compared to the 70s and early 80s. This is my 4th or so crash. You learn to see the signs when it's coming.

@SammEater It's not just American companies this bank handed out investment money to. You don't get to enjoy the use of our tech without taking the risk too either. You're on the internet created by US tech, on the comment section of a company created by US tech, that's supported by servers created using US tech investments, etc.
