@nadrewod999 Don’t forget most of the houses they’ve taken debt for are shells that aren’t livable and will never be completed. It’s truly bizarre.

@xila-man8249 I mean you’re free to ignore the population collapse if you want. Since China doesn’t allow hardly any immigration, nothing will prevent it. A much lower workforce can’t produce enough to sustain to the current economy. It’s just how numbers work.

@josep3776 No the state can’t just decide to remove property from someone. You clearly don’t understand the concept of private property. It’s not “China” buying property. It’s Chinese citizens and companies.

@dreb222 I’m not sure where China owning most of US debt started. It’s really weird and an easy thing to look into. You are correct that Japan hold most of our foreign debt.

@OnlineEnglish-wl5rp I’m not sure who these 2 are trying to convince other than each other. China is collapsing. They sped up the Hong Kong takeover because they needed their financial infusion. Same reason Taiwan is being seriously looked at. China needs the economic infusion to keep going. I’ve seen the numbers of young Chinese men “laying down” as they refer to it which is refusing to participate in the workforce. It was so prominent China banned saying it.
